DIY Gold Mug & Plate

Over the weekend I decided to put my DIY category on Pinterest to the test! People always
say their DIY is easy and quick to do but I never believed them... until now! This actually
was the easiest project to do and you don't even have to be that artistic to create a cute mug
or plate. I recently saw a similar plate online that would of cost me $25 plus shipping
fees, with this DIY it cost me $9 all together. Just follow these easy three steps and you got
yourself your very own personalized mug!

What You Need:
- gold metallic paint pen (a normal sharpie won't cut it!)
- plain white mug or table set

Instructions:
1. Clean the mug
2. Do a doodle of your choice
3. Wait for your design to dry, then bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
The oil-based pen turns permanent after you bake it.

Helpful advice: if you make a mistake, rubbing alcohol (like nail polish remover)
easily fixes the paint, just do this before you put it in the oven.

So easy and simple, and the pen is a great alternative to use then a paint brush!
