On Tuesday, The April Closet attended a collaborative fashion show between Gastown
boutique One of a Few and Vancouver-based design label Lifetime Collective. The husband
and wife duo were a knock out with 23 looks that inspired the laid-back, sophistication
that really speaks to our Vancouver culture.
Lifetime Collective started in 2002 by Reid Stewart and Trevor Flemming, who wanted to
create a brand that spoke to the skate and snow community. Their latest line, Uniform
Standards, is a relaxed, chill vibe that will definitely be hanging in my closet this summer.
The Mt Pleasant t-shirt is one of my favs due to its design being so awesome, even if it is
a men's shirt, I don't care!
To contrast, One of a Few's spring/summer trends were unique and sophisticated. Founded in
2005 by Michelle Rizzardo, the boutique prides themselves on their unique and fashionable
clothes. One of a Few has a great appreciation for their customers taste and dedicate their
selections to reflect those choices.

How cool are these bags! Not your typical leather bag, the shapes and details are very
unique and I couldn't stop looking at the backpacks... I need it!
The Two clothing lines were beautifully presented together. An evening well spent :)
